Administration and HR Coordinator

Meridian Institute has an immediate opening for the position of Administration and HR Coordinator in its Dillon, Colorado office. The position requires a professional individual who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats and is experienced in handling a wide range of administrative support related tasks. This individual must be able to handle confidentiality at a professional level.

Primary Duties of the Position

The Administration & HR Coordinator supports the Operations Manager and other staff in the Dillon, Colorado office. They serve as the go-to resource in the Dillon location by helping to coordinate the entire office atmosphere. This role is responsible for a variety of tasks related to general office operations, administrative support, and human resources. Some of the areas of responsibility include:

  • Point person for office maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment and events
  • Telecommunications administration and support; VOIP, conference calling, wireless services and devices, internet systems
  • Office liaison and support for information technology: both for staff and vendors
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function, including benefits administration, document management and policy compliance.
  • Responsible for HR recordkeeping: including conducting audits, tacking deadlines, and filing reports.
  • Ensures legal compliance for the Dillon office location (ADA, DOL, Workers Compensations, OSHA)

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, and a high level of organization and attention to detail. One needs to have a passion for working for a mission driven non-profit and a proven customer service attitude.

2-4 years of administrative experience required. Knowledge and comfort with information technology, and willingness to learn new software programs and work processes. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, especially in Excel and familiarity with SharePoint a plus. HR related experience preferred, but will train the right person.

This is a full-time position. Meridian Institute offers a competitive benefits package, with compensation based on experience.
