Issue Mapping regarding Trade, Development, and Agriculture

Related: Agriculture and Food Systems

Meridian conducted an issue mapping process for the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF). The process involved assessing and analyzing the context in which the GMF operates, based upon extensive interviews with external and internal stakeholders. Meridian interviewed stakeholders from governments, companies, nongovernmental organizations, international institutions, and academia on the topics of trade, development, and agriculture. The GMF used the resulting analysis and report to design a new multidisciplinary program area aimed at strengthening transatlantic cooperation on trade issues, to enhance opportunities for economic development and poverty alleviation in developing countries.
