Objective Force Warrior Program

Related: Resilience, Science and Technology

Meridian assisted in the design and facilitation of an intensive visioning and planning process to develop the technology requirements for the United States Army’s Objective Force Warrior Program. The process sought to ensure the Army’s ability to address traditional, asymmetric, and special operations requirements for soldiers by 2010.

This high-profile project included panel discussions with Army general officers, senior technologists from across the American private and public research communities, “futurists,” and senior systems engineers. Teams worked intensively over a 30-day period, with two four-day sessions and intervening web-based discussions, resulting in presentations and a final report to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology.
