Vinyl Institute National Advisory Council

Related: Environment and Natural Resources, Health

In 1998, the vinyl industry formed a National Advisory Council made up of members with diverse expertise and perspectives, including representatives from environmental organizations, the building products and waste management industries, and academia. The purpose of the Council was to provide policy advice to the industry to help ensure that its activities are environmentally sound, sustainable, and beneficial to society. The Council’s meetings also focused on how the industry can more effectively interact and communicate with all of its stakeholders. Meridian Institute professionals facilitated regular Council meetings over the course of three years.
