Utsarga Bhattarai is a Project Assistant at Meridian Institute. He joined Meridian’s Dillon office in June 2012 and provides support on various public policy projects. Having graduated from Colorado College in May 2012 with a Distinction in Biology, cum laude, Mr. Bhattarai has a background in natural science and economics and now seeks to synthesize his academic background with the responsibilities at Meridian to achieve professional and intellectual growth.                                      

 

As an undergraduate at Colorado College, Mr. Bhattarai conducted scientific research in Costa Rica and India, and studied abroad in Argentina and Spain. He was a co-chair of the Responsible Investments Committee, a student representative at the Curriculum Review Committee, and a member of the Honor Council.                                                                                                                                      

An outdoors enthusiast, Mr. Bhattarai is a budding fly fisherman and a certified Wilderness First Responder.
