Meridian Institute staff provided process design and facilitation services to The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread for their inaugural Environmental Forum, on the topic of freshwater resources. The Freshwater Forum was an intensive two-year effort that included five conferences, all designed and facilitated by Meridian and held between March and December 2009. The Forum culminated in the June 2010 Freshwater Summit and resulting consensus document, Charting New Waters: A Call to Action to Address U.S. Freshwater Resources.
Meridian Institute continues to support The Johnson Foundation's efforts to advance and implement the principles and recommendations of the Call to Action. The latest phase of work is known as "Charting New Waters."
