U.S. EPA Drought Response and Water Loss Workshops for Water Utilities

Related: Environment and Natural Resources, Resilience

Meridian is providing facilitation support for the planning and delivery of a series of drought response and water loss workshops geared toward small and medium-sized drinking water utilities. The workshops are designed to introduce resources and tools that utility managers and operators can use to prepare for drought and increase the efficiency of their systems. Specific resources covered include EPA's Drought Response and Recovery: A Basic Guide for Water Utilities, the American Water Works Association's Free Water Audit Software. Each workshop is being planned in collaboration with state drinking water primacy agencies and other in-state partners. The first three workshops are slated for Prestonsburg, KY; Monett, MO; and St. George, UT.
