About Valentina Toledo
Valentina Toledo is a Mediator and Program Manager for Regen10, where she leads the program and oversees activities across its three workstreams. With a focus on deep, systemic change, she designs and facilitates co-creative, participatory processes and collaborations that are rooted in justice and regeneration. Valentina thrives on challenging the status quo and fostering transformative outcomes that address the injustices embedded in our food systems.
At the heart of Valentina’s work is a commitment to transformation that is rooted in living-systems perspectives. She explores what it means to embody regeneration at every level – in how we design food systems, navigate power structures, and create value and meaning. Valentina nurtures this approach in her own work and supports others in doing the same. Her focus delves into paradigm-shifting questions around equity, resilience, and how we can reconfigure our relationship to the planet, each other, and the future we are collectively creating. Her goal is to create a just, regenerative food system that supports both people and the planet.
Valentina previously worked at the sustainability non-profit Forum for the Future, where she managed projects and partnerships, including Growing Our Future, a multi-stakeholder collaboration aimed at accelerating the transition to regenerative agriculture in the US and UK.
Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Valentina now calls sunny Lisbon, Portugal home, where she’s actively involved in the local regenerative food movement. In her spare time, she’s happiest exploring everywhere on foot – wandering cities, hiking coastal paths, or trekking in the mountains. If given the chance, Valentina would devour every croissant she could get her hands on.
