Diversification and Systems-Based Investing Field Lab in Minnesota!

Last month in Minnesota, Meridian convened an incredible group of farmers, investors, philanthropies, private sector representatives, and food systems leaders to explore the intersection of Systems-Based Investing (SBI) and row crop diversification in the Midwest. The second in the series, Meridian hosted the Field Lab in collaboration with Builders Vision, McKnight Foundation, and TransCap Initiative. Attendees participated in invigorating discussions about investment approaches to scale diversification that resulted in creative and innovative investment approaches. We are excited to continue the conversation with this group, working to implement solutions that leave more money in farmers’ pockets and produce a myriad of environmental benefits.
