About Ian Yue

Ian Yue is a Mediator and Program Manager at Meridian. He manages and supports projects related to ocean policy and climate action, with a particular focus on U.S. marine aquaculture development and greenhouse gas emissions.

Ian has spent the last 10 years engaging diverse stakeholder groups on a variety of coastal management and climate initiatives. He has specialized in leveraging science communication, advisory group and public workshop facilitation, and survey-based assessment and evaluation to advance more inclusive and informed approaches to environmental planning. Prior to joining Meridian, he authored and co-led the development of Delaware’s first statewide climate action plan and provided coordination oversight for a regulatory advisory process around heavy industrial development in the state’s coastal zone. Ian also coordinated the creation of a comprehensive natural resource and human use inventory for Connecticut’s Long Island Sound Blue Plan marine spatial planning effort.

Originally from the Twin Cities, Minnesota, Ian now lives in northern Delaware, where he serves on his church’s leadership board, organizes pickleball and volleyball games for a recreational sports group, and seeks out live theater and cinema classics whenever possible.
