About Loretta Cheung
Loretta Cheung is a Project Manager at Meridian where she supports the planning and management of complex projects.
Loretta has over 12 years of experience in project management in the nonprofit and private sectors, working on a diverse array of environmental topics. Prior to Meridian, she was an Account Supervisor at Edelman, where she was the driver of the quality and operational performance of accounts. Loretta was also an Environment Programs Lead at PCI Media and managed behavior change communication programs, including PCI’s role in the USAID West Africa Biodiversity and Climate Change program and UNEP’s #WildForLife campaign to combat the illegal wildlife trade. While at the World Resources Institute, she helped run the Forest Legality Alliance, a USAID-funded public-private partnership promoting the legal trade of timber products.
Loretta is a native New Yorker now based in the Bay Area, California. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with the California State Park Foundation, going to baseball games with her husband (go Padres!), watching the Great British Bakeoff and trying her hand at rough puff pastry and pies.
