About Molly Mayo

Molly Mayo is a Senior Partner at Meridian, based in Alaska. For more than 25 years, she has been a trusted advisor, thought partner, and sought-after facilitator for foundations, companies, and civil society organizations. Molly has worked extensively on freshwater issues, fisheries and marine conservation, and agriculture and food systems. A highlight of her tenure at Meridian was serving as the lead facilitator for a meeting at the African Union Commission, chaired by Kofi Annan and then-AUC Chair Madame Zuma, on the future of African agriculture and food systems.

Molly provides extensive strategic planning expertise and a natural facilitation style to help partners focus and right-size their collaboration. Whether working with local fishermen and community groups or ministers and CEOs, Molly connects with people, gets to the heart of complex issues, and navigates group dynamics. Her thoughtful and creative style is a signature strength. She is committed to the idea that building trusted relationships among uncommon partners can make great things happen—not just in the room, but far into the future.

Molly spends her free time perfecting off-grid living on the south side of Denali. She recharges in the garden when she is not fishing or volunteering for a local cause. She feels at her best during mid-winter in Alaska, when the days are short and the ski trails are long.
