About Pablo Vidueira

Pablo Vidueira is a Meridian Affiliate based in Madrid, Spain. He is a systems change and evaluation consultant, researcher, facilitator, and professor and serves as the Blue Marble Global Systems Change Evaluator with the Global Alliance for the Future of Food.

Across his many roles, Pablo’s responsibilities vary greatly. With the Global Alliance, he uses evaluation and systems concepts, methods, and tools to help the Alliance make sense of, learn from, and adapt to the complexity of global and local food systems. As a researcher, Pablo is affiliated with the Technical University of Madrid and the Comillas Pontifical University, where he employs systems and evaluation theories and methods to shape different food systems and optimize innovation processes in rural areas. Pablo’s teaching and advising activities also pivot around evaluation and systems thinking, food systems, and international development.

Outside of work, Pablo volunteers in a youth leisure center, as program co-chair of the Systems in Evaluation Topical Interest Group of the American Evaluation Association, and as the elected president of a regional professional evaluation association in Spain and Portugal, APROEVAL. In his spare time, he very much enjoys drumming and hiking with friends.
