About Rex Raimond

Rex Raimond has worked on all aspects of food and agricultural systems transformation, including water quality and soil health, sustainable supply chains, food safety, science and emerging technologies, forest protection and sustainable landscapes, and climate and energy.

A highlight of his time at Meridian is working with African partner organizations to create the Partnership for Aflatoxin Control in Africa, which works to mitigate the risks of aflatoxins in African staple crops.

Rex has more than 20 years of experience developing strategy, facilitating collaboration, and building effective partnerships. Rex is a multi-lingual, international environmental lawyer. Prior to joining Meridian, Rex practiced environmental and land-use law in the Netherlands. He lives near Boulder, Colorado with his wife and three children. He has lived in the Netherlands, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Zimbabwe.
