About Sareh Forouzesh

Sareh Forouzesh is a Senior Mediator and Program Manager. She is a sustainable development professional with more than ten years’ experience in designing, convening, and facilitating multi-stakeholder strategy development, consulting, and program management roles. She has worked with clients and partners across government, private sector, philanthropy, civil society, and academia to elicit, synthesize, and advance inclusive and collaborative solutions to complex sustainability and resilience challenges. Topical areas of focus include agriculture and food systems transformation, tropical deforestation, supply chains and sustainable procurement, corporate sustainability, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Safety.

Prior to joining Meridian, she was the Associate Director of Forests at CDP, where she worked on issues relating to commodity driven deforestation and jurisdictional approaches towards eliminating deforestation. Sareh holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics; an MSc in Energy, Environmental Technology and Economics from City University London; and a BSc in Chemical Engineering.

Sareh lives in London and enjoys staying active, reading and London’s cultural and culinary scenes.
