Tara Shyam

Tara Shyam is the Director of Regen10, the Secretariat for which is hosted by the Meridian Institute. Regen10 is an international multistakeholder partnership focused on amplifying the impact of regenerative practices globally to transform food systems to benefit people, nature, and the planet through farmer centric and deeply inclusive approaches.

Tara is a specialist in complex multistakeholder food systems partnerships, with diverse expertise spanning agriculture, nutrition, school meals, and food loss and waste. Tara is adept at shared-value stakeholder engagement across government, business, nonprofit organizations, multilateral agencies, civil society, and academia, ranging from high-level leadership to on-the-ground operations. She has worked for the UN World Food Programme, two CGIAR Institutes, the Global Nutrition Report, The Global FoodBanking Network, and the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), among others.
