About Vanessa Kulick Price

Vanessa Kulick Price is a Senior Mediator and Program Manager at Meridian Institute where she focuses on agricultural reform and conservation. Her international projects include program management of a multi-million-dollar initiative to transform regenerative food systems, and leading workstreams on just transitions in the protein sector. Vanessa also advances several domestic projects related to farm diversification, agriculture policy reform, and state/regional coalition-building to advance conservation agriculture and infrastructure.

Prior to Meridian, Vanessa served as Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State for nearly a decade, both in Washington, D.C. and overseas at Embassies in Africa and Asia. She led initiatives to reduce destabilizing violence related to nature resource-related conflict, and advanced foreign policy to transform the U.S. government’s approach towards atrocity prevention and gender equity.

Vanessa has a M.S. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution with honors from George Mason University and a B.A. in Government from the University of Maryland. Vanessa resides with her family on a homestead farm in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, Virginia where she is a Board member on local initiatives to support thriving foodsheds, conservation agriculture and livelihood development.
