About Vanessa Kulick Price

Vanessa Kulick Price is a Senior Mediator and Project Director of the AGree Coalition at Meridian Institute, where she leads work focused on agricultural reform and conservation. Her portfolio includes advancing initiatives related to farm diversification, agriculture policy reform, and state and regional coalition-building to support conservation agriculture and infrastructure.

Previously, Vanessa managed international projects, including a multi-million-dollar initiative to transform regenerative food systems and led workstreams on just transitions in the protein sector. Earlier in her career, she served nearly a decade as a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State, working both in Washington, D.C., and at U.S. Embassies in Africa and Asia. There, she led initiatives to address natural resource-related conflict and helped shape U.S. foreign policy on atrocity prevention and gender equity.

Vanessa holds an M.S. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution with honors from George Mason University and a B.A. in Government from the University of Maryland. Vanessa recently moved to Ithaca, New York with her daughter to run a small-scale native food and medicine farm.
