About Jennifer Pratt Miles
Jennifer Pratt Miles is a Partner and Practice Director based in Meridian’s Dillon, CO office. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience designing collaborative processes and facilitating discussions to develop solutions to complex problems. She has worked on a variety of projects to improve health and nutrition, food security, ecosystem restoration, and community resilience. Jennifer currently leads Lacuna Fund, a collaborative effort to provide data scientists, researchers, and social entrepreneurs in low- and middle-income contexts globally with the resources they need to make machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) data more equitable, representative, accurate, and accessible for everyone. A highlight of her time at has been working with the African Union Commission, Tanzanian government, Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology, and other stakeholders to assess the prevalence of aflatoxin in Tanzania and develop an action plan to mitigate its effects on agriculture, health, and trade.
Prior to joining Meridian, she led a Healthy Communities Initiative in Summit County, CO and managed a diversion program for youth in Colorado’s Fifth Judicial District.
Jennifer lives in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with her husband. They have two grown sons who are living in British Columbia and Montana. If she could, she would ski every day. When the snow has melted, she enjoys bicycling, hiking, and gardening. Jennifer is passionate about helping people understand different perspectives and experiences; she tries to engage voices that are missing from conversations about important issues so that those affected have a say in the solutions.
I love working at Meridian because I am always learning, and because I have the honor of working with dynamic leaders who are crafting innovative solutions that address the world’s most pressing problems.
